Just got home from the STONES THROW 2k Zombie Tour.
Hands down, one of the dopest concerts/shows I've witnessed by far.
Maybe it's cuz it's been a year since I've seen them last,
but tonite's show was off the fkin chain.

Big up all the people in the spot. Hopefully everyone got home
safely as I'm sure everyone got hit w/ the winter storm
on the way home. 20+ cm in less that 5 hrs?!? ahh global
warming.

Highlites were definitely Karriem Riggins & MADLIB
freestyling beats. Big up MADLIB for conversing w/ me
@ the bar. Mad humble brotha.

Always a good show, wish I bought a tee damnit.

SNOW DAY pt.2

Up here in the northern hemisphere, November usually marks
the beginning of winter. I can't recall a time recently tho, when
Mother Nature was on point with the weather suitable for the
times. Seems like this year tho, she's on point as we're way
in the minus temps; we've already seen the first snowfall,
and it doesn't look like it's gonna let up. Unless of course,
the temp shoots up and we're back to summer in a week!?!

Ahhh winter. Time for extremely bad traffic, winter tires,
trees (lol), and pure hibernation...if you live in Canada, you
know the investment of a good gaming system; PS3 / XBOX.
It's times like this, I think automatically of my winter love,
SNOWBOARDING. I just hope Mother Nature will grant us
a good season; looks madd promising.

Wieger = DOPE

After watching the new NIKE SB video, "Nothing But The Truth,"
this guy's opening trick blew me away. Halfcab heelflip, body varial
tail slide. For those of you that don't skate, that's 3 tricks thrown
into 1. By far, my favorite part of the new SB vid. Sorry BA...lol.
Technical, super long slides/grinds...this guy is up there in my books
w/ BA, MJ, Koston, and even Malto. Madd swagger...pure unsigned hype.

UPDATE

Despite a temporary hiatus from the world wide web,
we come to you now at the peak of our new beginning.
Shed that old skin, IRIS has been in the lab cooking up
some goodies.

FIRST, after a quick run @ LOUNGE RETAIL, we are pleased
to announce that we will be stocking @ LIVESTOCK (T.O.)
starting this November 24th, just in time for the holidays.
Our first shipment will include some of our popular tees and
some EXCLUSIVE TO THE CUT, cut & sew crewneck sweaters,
all designed and hand sewn by IRIS.

The GUGGENHEIM Collection, our first run @ true cut & sew,
is a collection of a handfull of sweaters all unique and destinct to IRIS.
There is no repeating piece as far as color/cut; each garment is a true
one of a kind. LIVESTOCK will be stocking our first few to the public
and the rest will be made available through our site (December).

BIG up GHETTO GOLD MATT & SEVEN:30 (LOUNGE) plus
SKAM MONEY on the look and the entire LS FAM.

So there's a quick update to show you what we've been up to.
We've been lining up some moves, so keep a close eye on

Bob Muthafuckin Isley, the name to remember.

So aka MIKE, lol, has been in the woodworks strong arming a
dream concept for IRIS since day 1. Taking a concept that
originally started with the DIRT Volume series
(www.DIRTvolume.com), aka MIKE has been collabing with
some dope ass producers, if you don't know, check the post
below.

What's come about is each producers rendition of the
classic "Nautilus" by Bob James, and "In Between the Sheets"
by The Isley Brothers.

These beats are gonna be previewed during a segment at our
launch, but definitely cop the promo package to take home
this jem of a project.
